Student Life
Orientation, counselling, five student societies, festivals, sports week, the annual magazine and outreach teams.
Students learn as much from what happens around class as in it. PGA runs orientation for new students, counselling for academic and personal difficulties, and a structured set of student societies that give students real responsibility.
The Student Council represents students. The Media & Skits Society stages plays and runs Media Chronicles, the annual creative festival, with its own art direction, photography, scriptwriting and hosting teams. The Debate Society competes between universities. The Design Society produces the annual magazine and acts as the in-house studio for every other society. The Sports Society runs Sports Week.
Students are encouraged to pitch new events; feasible ones are approved and supported by the Student Affairs team.
