AI-Assisted Photography and Image Generation

AI is not the enemy of photography; it is a new lens. This course explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence into the photographic workflow. Students will learn to use Generative AI (Midjourney/Stable Diffusion) for ideation and storyboarding, and master “Generative Fill” and AI-based noise reduction tools in Photoshop to salvage and expand their photographic work.

§ 01 By the end you can
  1. Master "Prompt Engineering" to generate concepts and storyboards
  2. Utilize AI tools in Photoshop: Generative Fill, Neural Filters, and Remove Tool
  3. Apply AI upscaling and De-Noise software to rescue low-quality images
  4. Train custom AI models (LoRAs) on personal photographic styles
  5. Debate the ethics of AI: Authorship, Deepfakes, and Copyright
