Life-Size Figure Modeling

This course trains students to sculpt a life-sized human figure using clay or mixed sculptural materials. Emphasis is placed on anatomy, proportion, armature building, structural stability, surface development, and expressive form.

§ 01 By the end you can
  1. Construct a full armature capable of supporting a life-size figure.
  2. Apply anatomical knowledge to model accurate human proportions.
  3. Build mass, volume, and gesture in large-scale modeling.
  4. Refine surface textures, details, and expressive qualities.
  5. Produce a structurally stable, fully formed life-size figure sculpture.
