Faculty Academy
Train industry professionals to teach, with the same programme PGA uses for its own faculty.
Hiring practitioners makes teaching more relevant, but most have never planned a course or assessed a student. Faculty Academy is PGA’s Professional Instructor Programme, offered to other institutions.
Participants learn to plan a 16-session course, run project-based classes, give critique that improves work, assess against rubrics, run juries and use an LMS. They finish with a course plan they can teach.
