Professional Instructor Programme
Industry professionals trained to teach and mentor, so students learn from people who do the work.
PGA’s faculty come from studios, agencies and production houses. The Professional Instructor Programme trains them to teach: planning a 16-session course, running project-based classes, giving critique that improves work, assessing fairly and using the LMS.
New instructors are supported through their first semesters with class visits and feedback, so real-world knowledge reaches students in a form they can use.
The rest of the PGA model
![]() | Industry-Responsive Curriculum | Courses revised continuously from three inputs: industry advisers, alumni in their first jobs, and the tools studios are adopting. |
![]() | Two-Tier Juries | Every final project defended twice: to faculty at an internal jury, then to working professionals at an external jury. |
![]() | Mentorship & Feedback Loop | Faculty mentor students through every stage of the final project, so the work improves before industry sees it. |
![]() | Immersive Learning | Learning outside the classroom: studios, broadcasters, galleries, presses, live shoots, workshops, competitions and community work. |
![]() | Industry-Based Projects | Coursework built on real briefs from industry partners, judged by the people who wrote them. |
![]() | Brand Activations | Students are assigned real brands and graded on pre-launch, launch and post-launch work by the brands’ own managers. |
![]() | Creative Arts Fest | An entrepreneurial festival where students set up stalls, sell what they make and host other universities. |
![]() | Annual Function & Societies | A showcase run entirely by students, from art direction and set design to theatre, marketing and sponsorship. |
![]() | Level Up | A continuous path from a four-month certificate to a master’s, with credits carried forward so you can stop at any rung with a qualification and come back later. |
