Video Production for Photographers

Modern clients demand “Hybrid Shooters.” This course teaches photographers how to pivot their skills to video. Using the same DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, students will learn the language of motion: frame rates (24p vs. 60p), shutter angles, camera movement, and audio recording. The curriculum focuses on creating high-quality “B-Roll,” interviews, and short social content.

§ 01 By the end you can
  1. Transition from Still to Motion: Understanding 180-degree Shutter Rule & Frame Rates
  2. Master Audio: Using Lavaliers and Shotgun mics (Sound is 50% of video)
  3. Execute Camera Movement: Gimbals, Sliders, and Handheld techniques
  4. Understand Lighting for Video: Continuous light and practicals
  5. Edit video using NLEs (Premiere/DaVinci): Cutting, Color Grading, and Exporting
