AI-Assisted Production

Generative images, video, voice and concepts, made inside a normal craft pipeline and directed by people who know what good looks like.

Generative tools make some things much faster and some things much worse. We use them where they help: early concepts, style exploration, backgrounds and environments, voice versions for different languages, and volume work like product variations. Direction, selection and finishing stay with people.

Every AI-assisted piece goes through the same finishing as the rest of our work: compositing, retouching, colour grading and sound by hand. Clients get the speed of the tools without the tell-tale look of unfinished AI output.

We also teach AI in the creative arts at the PGA Institute. That keeps us current on tools and on the questions that matter to clients: who owns the output, whose likeness or voice is used, what the licence allows and when to disclose it.

How it runs

Every Studio project moves through the same four stages: Discovery, Exploration, Execution and Implementation. Here’s what each stage means for this service.

  1. DiscoveryUse-case and rights check

We agree what AI will and won’t be used for, and check licences, likeness and consent before any generation.

  2. ExplorationStyle frames

Tests to find a look that fits the brand. You approve a direction before volume production.

  3. ExecutionGeneration and selection

Generation in batches, with a director selecting and iterating rather than accepting first results.

  4. ExecutionCraft finishing

Compositing, retouch, grade, edit and sound by hand.

  5. ImplementationDelivery

Final files with notes on which tools were used, for your records and any disclosure you choose to make.

What you leave with

  • Approved style frames
  • Final images, films or voice files
  • Tool and licence record
  • Optional: trained style model and prompt library
  • Optional: team training and usage policy

A good fit if

  • You need more versions, languages or variations than a traditional shoot allows.
  • You want to try AI in your marketing without it looking cheap.
  • Your in-house team is using AI tools without a shared process or policy.

Questions

Will it look like AI?

Not if it’s finished properly. The giveaways of raw AI output are fixed by hand in compositing, retouching and grading, as with any other footage or image.

Who owns AI-assisted work?

You own what we deliver, as with any project. Where a tool’s terms or local law limit ownership, we tell you before we use it and can choose a different approach.

Do you use real people’s voices or faces?

Only with their written consent and for the agreed use. We never clone a voice or likeness without permission.
