Brand Alchemy
Naming, identity systems, motion and voice: everything that makes a brand recognisable, built as a system your team can run.
A brand is a set of decisions people recognise before they read the name: a shape, a colour, a way of moving, a tone of voice. Brand Alchemy is where we make those decisions with you, test them against the real places your brand has to live, and write them down so they survive contact with other people.
We don’t hand over a logo and leave. The work ends with a system: the marks, the type and colour rules, the motion language, the templates, and guidelines clear enough that a new designer, a printer in Lahore or an agency in Dubai can apply the brand correctly without calling us.
Because the same team teaches identity design, typography and motion at the PGA Institute, we build identities that hold up in both English and Urdu, on a billboard and on a 6-inch phone, in print and in motion.
What’s included
- Brand audit
- A review of what you have now: where the brand appears, what works, what’s inconsistent, and what competitors own.
- Positioning and naming
- What you stand for in one sentence, and, if needed, a new name checked for meaning, pronunciation and availability.
- Visual identity
- Logo and wordmark, symbol, colour palette, typography, image style, iconography and layout principles.
- Bilingual type
- Latin and Urdu or Arabic-script pairings that feel like one family, so the brand works in both languages.
- Motion language
- How the logo animates, how transitions behave and how the brand moves on screen, delivered as After Effects and Lottie files.
- Verbal identity
- Tone of voice, key messages, taglines and a short writing guide with before-and-after examples.
- Sonic cues
- An audio logo and a small sound palette for video, apps and ads, when the brand needs one.
- Guidelines and templates
- A usable brand book, plus ready templates for social posts, presentations, stationery and signage.
How it runs
Every Studio project moves through the same four stages: Discovery, Exploration, Execution and Implementation. Here’s what each stage means for this service.
DiscoveryDiscovery
Workshop with your team, stakeholder interviews and the audit. We agree what the brand has to achieve and how we’ll judge it.
DiscoveryStrategy and naming
Positioning options and, where needed, naming routes. You choose one before any design starts.
ExplorationDirections
Two or three distinct identity directions, each shown in real applications (a shopfront, a social post, a packaging face), not floating on a white page.
ExecutionRefinement
One direction developed in depth: the mark refined, the type and colour systems built, motion tested.
ImplementationSystem and handover
Guidelines, templates and source files. A handover session with your team and any agencies who will use the brand.
ImplementationRollout support
Optional: we stay on to produce launch assets or check work made by others against the guidelines.

Questions
Do you only design logos?
No. A logo on its own rarely fixes anything. We design the whole system around it: type, colour, motion, voice and templates, so the brand stays consistent after we’ve gone.
Can you refresh our brand instead of replacing it?
Yes. Many projects keep the recognisable parts of an existing brand and fix what’s broken: an unreadable logo at small sizes, a palette that prints badly, no rules for social media.
Do we own the work?
Yes. On final payment you own the identity and receive all source files. Third-party fonts are licensed in your name.
Can you work with our existing agency?
Yes. We often build the system and hand it to an in-house team or media agency, then check their first pieces of work against it.
