Hologram Production

This specialized course prepares students for the future of display technology: Holography. Moving beyond screens, students will learn to create content for volumetric displays (like Looking Glass), holographic fans, and large-scale “Pepper’s Ghost” stage illusions (similar to the ABBA Voyage). The curriculum blends 3D animation, green screen filming, and optical physics.

§ 01 By the end you can
  1. Understand the physics of illusions: Pepper’s Ghost vs. Volumetric Displays
  2. Film talent specifically for holographic projection (Lighting & Backgrounds)
  3. Create 3D assets for Light Field displays (Looking Glass)
  4. Design stage setups for large-scale holographic concerts
  5. Master the workflow of Volumetric Capture (Depth + RGB)
