Post Production for Animation
Rendering is not the end; it is the beginning of the visual polish. This course focuses on the compositing workflow specifically for animated projects. Students will learn how to take raw render passes (Diffuse, Specular, Z-Depth) and assemble them into a final image. The curriculum covers color grading for cartoons, adding visual effects (glows, particles), and integrating 2D/3D elements seamlessly.
§ 01 By the end you can
- Understand the Multi-Pass compositing workflow (AOVs)
- Master color grading techniques to establish mood and style
- Apply optical effects: Depth of Field, Motion Blur, and Lens Flares in post
- Integrate 2D motion graphics with 3D renders
- Deliver final exports compliant with broadcast and streaming standards
